Pale ale is a type of beer that is brewed primarily with pale malts in order to achieve a more balanced malt-to-hop ratio. “IPA” is an abbreviation for India Pale Ale, which is a hoppy style of beer that falls under the pale ale category. Double IPAs, also known as Imperial IPAs, are a much hoppier style of IPA with an alcohol content of more than 7.5 percent by volume that are brewed in small batches.
Blonde Ales have a maltier flavour than American Pale Ales, and American Pale Ales have a bitterer flavour than Blonde Ales. IPAs have progressed since their inception as a style of beer. As was the case in 1829, the primary flavour of an IPA is derived from the hops used in the brewing process. It is possible for the hop varietal to produce a citrus note, a fruity flavour, or a herbal flavour.
Even though there are no precise definitions for “light” or “double” beers, the general consensus is that they have an alcohol content of around 4.2 percent for light beers and 7-10 percent for double IPAs.
Blue Moon Brewing Company is a brewery located in the city of Blue Moon. Notable characteristics: A refreshing White IPA made with four varieties of hops, wheat and coriander with a hint of orange peel. The wheat and a hint of orange peel were added to our unfiltered White IPA to balance out the citrus hop character of the beer.

MIXED STYLE MULTI-PACK (15 BEERS)
A black and tan is perhaps the most well-known’mixed’ beer drink, as well as one of the most ancient (if not the oldest). It is made by combining a stout with a pale ale or pale lager and pouring the mixture into a single glass in an attractive two-tiered pour.
Despite the fact that there are over 100 distinct styles of beer (over 73 different ales, over 25 different lagers, and a handful of hybrid styles), the classification process is made even more difficult by the fact that there are even more ways to group and/or subcategorize beer.
Every beer that you’ve served in your brewery, bar, or restaurant can be divided into two basic categories: ales and lagers. Ales are the more traditional style of beer, while lagers are the more modern. The primary difference between an ale and a lager is the type of yeast that is used to ferment the beer during the fermentation process.
Here are the rules of beer mixing, as taught to us by the crazy geniuses who do it on a daily basis. A classic black and tan is made by combining equal parts pale ale or lager and a dark beer, such as stout or porter, in the same glass. When combined with more effervescent varieties such as a lager or pale ale, darker-style beers have a smooth and creamy texture that is ideal for mixing.

PerfectDraft is a beer tapping system developed by AB-InBev, a Belgian company, and Philips, a Dutch company. The device is similar to those used for tapping beer at parties, except that it works with steel, returnable six-litre kegs instead of plastic ones. Approximately 40 different beers will be available for use with the PerfectDraft Home Draught machine by the end of 2020. If the kegs are left in the machine, they will be kept at a temperature of 3°C and under the proper pressure for storage. A single keg of beer can be kept for up to 30 days.
The PerfectDraft Home Beer Tap chills a 6-litre keg to 3 degrees Celsius in as little as 12 hours, depending on the weather. Due to the fact that the machine pumps beer through an internal compressor pump, no additional gas containers are required. As the air is forced into the keg, it is ensured that it does not come into contact with the actual beer, which is contained in a hygienic aluminium bag. It is in this manner that the beer is kept from oxidising and its flavour is preserved.
Each new keg is delivered with a tap tube, which allows for hygienic installation. With each new keg, all parts that come into contact with the beer are replaced, ensuring a hygienic experience as well as high-quality beer. Only the surface of the PerfectDraft tap unit needs to be cleaned.
The temperature indicator indicates when the beer has reached a temperature of 3 degrees Celsius. The volume level indicator indicates how much beer is left in the keg, to a reasonable degree of accuracy. The beer freshness indicator tells you how long your beer will be good for after it has been opened. The drip tray can be easily removed and washed by hand, or it can be placed in the dishwasher for convenience. In addition to Belgian classics, American IPAs, and German Weisen, PerfectDraft has over 40 beers available in real bar-grade metal kegs. Browse through our entire inventory of kegs. Whether you’re starting a home bar or expanding an existing one, this is the keg machine you’ll need.
They hold 8 litres of beer, which you will already be familiar with if you have used BLADE and BLADE Kegs before. As a result, 8 litres will yield 14 pints or 24 half pints of beer.
The length of time that a properly stored keg in a kegerator will keep its beer fresh will be determined by the type of beer that was used. Pasteurized beers can be kept fresh for three to six months after being pasteurised. For non-pasteurized beers, you can expect the keg to last approximately two months before it starts to go bad.
