Are sour beers good for you?
While the jury is still out on whether or not beer is good for you, new research suggests that sour beers may offer some health benefits. Sour beers are made by adding special bacteria to the brewing process, which gives the beer a tart, acidic flavor. These bacteria are similar to the probiotics found in yogurt and other fermented foods, and they have been shown to promote gut health.
In addition, sour beers are often lower in calories and carbs than traditional beers, making them a lighter choice for those watching their weight. While more research is needed to confirm the health benefits of sour beers, they may be worth a try for those looking to make healthier choices.

This dessert-oriented IPA has a blend of fresh Castilian lemon juice and zest and three citrusy new world hops. Upon a gorgeous biscuity base, we’ve layered our citrus symphony, which is then drizzled with luscious honey sweetness and finished with a dusting of sea salt. The beer’s sourness is pleasant, and it has a silky, creamy mouthfeel that makes it easy to consume.

In order to give our sour IPA the most potent possible grapefruit flavour, in addition to the zest and juice of grapefruit, we hopped it with Ekuanot, Bravo, and Mosaic. Lactose is added for its velvety texture and pleasant sweetness it brings.
