What is special about London Zoo?
Founded in 1826, the London Zoo is the world’s oldest scientific zoo. The zoo was originally intended to be used as a collection of animals for scientific study, and it was not open to the public until 1847. Today, the London Zoo is home to over 16,000 animals, making it one of the largest zoos in the world. The zoo is also well-known for its conservation efforts, and it has helped to save several species from extinction.
In addition, the London Zoo is committed to educating visitors about the importance of conservation. As a result, the London Zoo provides a unique opportunity to learn about and see some of the world’s most endangered animals.
