About Simply Cook
The goal of Simply Cook is to get more individuals in the United Kingdom into the kitchen. The average American barely knows six or fewer meals, despite the prevalence of culinary shows and celebrity chefs in the country. They want to change that stereotype by popularising quick and simple dishes that don’t skimp on flavour.
This results in their three objectives:
In other words, they want your dinners to taste great because they do.
The authors want you to be able to make the recipes affordably, therefore they’ve eliminated unnecessary ingredients.
you can whip up a tasty treat without breaking the bank.
Their kits are practical since you can use them whenever you like, the recipes only take around 20 minutes to make, and the materials needed to make them are readily available.
Every Simply Cook package has four different recipes and four different ingredient kits. Every kit’s unique flavour profile is the result of careful consideration and planning by trained chefs.
Initially, SimplyCook.com was Oli Ashness’s idea. Due to his busy lifestyle as a Londoner, he rarely had time to spend in the kitchen whipping up tasty dinners for himself and his pals. He wanted to start eating better at night but found that it was impractical to attempt new dishes and buy expensive, high-quality products. A few months later, he started working on an answer to this problem. Finally, they arrived at SimplyCook.com.
They have since hired more people and gained more customers, and they now frequently ship out over 700,000 meal kits.

4. Nyonya
Bringing together the best of Malaysian, Chinese, and Indonesian cooking, Nyonya cuisine is a delicious melting pot of cultures and flavours. Before adding their sophisticated Nyonya Paste, they pan-fry the chicken in their signature Garlic Coconut Paste, which gives exquisite base notes. The paste, made by pounding together herbs like galangal, chilli, coriander, kaffir lime leaves, and lemongrass, lends a complex flavour to the dish. The dish is finished off with a touch of sweetness and heat from their favourite garnish: chilli, coriander, and coconut flake.

3. Bokkeumbap
Bokkeumbap, a Korean fried rice dish, is a fast and easy way to use up leftovers and a supper that the whole family will enjoy. They’ve tracked down the two key Korean ingredients that turn this random assortment into a savoury and spicy delight. Korean soy sauce (Doenjang) with red pepper paste (Gochujang)!

Their signature concentrated garlic paste
Gochujang:
A staple Korean fermented chilli sauce
Doenjang:
A savoury black bean paste adding an umami hit
2. Jerk Chicken
The most widely exported meal from Jamaica is jerk chicken, which consists of tender chunks of chicken marinated in a flavorful, spicy jerk sauce and grilled till blackened and crispy. Their Jerk Seasoning has over 21 ingredients, including allspice, thyme, ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon, yet it’s still milder than usual because they left out the scotch bonnet chilies. This Caribbean recipe would be lacking without the staples of rice and peas, and they’ll teach you how to make them right at home. They’ve crammed all the flavour into their three little pots, so there’s no need to marinade for hours on end.
Jerk Seasoning:
A bold blend of pimento, cayenne & paprika
Jerk Paste:
An intensely flavourful paste packed with spices
Rice Stock:

1. King Prawn Jalfrezi
The name “Jalfrezi” is derived from the Bengali words for “spicy” and “fried,” “Jal” and “frezi,” respectively, suggesting that this curry is unique. In their dry-style jalfrezi, the king prawns are stir-fried with bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes before the vegetables are simmered down to create a small amount of sauce that is both spicy and acidic. A faster option than ordering takeout!
