Luke Roper was born into a hardworking family in Walsall Wood, West Midlands. At the age of 12, he discovered he had a knack for both football and sewing machines. By the time he was fifteen, he was making one-off shirts for his friends. Before long, he had become a local legend, with guys from all over the area ordering his one-of-a-kind creations. Soon, he was decking out the clubs of the Wild West Midlands with his unique designs.

London was his next stop after being noticed by the premier fashion university in the country, Central St. Martin, where he earned a degree in menswear design. At this location, Luke honed his craft and met with his lifelong friend Simon Poole to hatch a plan to become the UK’s premier menswear brand. After finishing college, Luke joined forces with Deborah Poole to launch their scuba diving company, and their adventure began.
