5 Siren Craft Brew Beers
HAUS PARTY FESTBIER
Their Festbier is brewed in the traditional manner using hops and malts sourced solely from Germany. It has a flavour profile that is comparable to that of a Marzen, but it has a lighter colour and body, which makes it exceptionally easy to drink and ideal for social gatherings. Pretzels and good company make for the best experience.
DDH SOUNDWAVE DDH IPA
A limited release of our flagship India Pale Ale, the Soundwave. The dry-hop has been increased by a factor of two in order to get the desired punchy, tropical smells and saturated hoppy flavour. It has a distinctive resinous finish and flows with an enticing haze that makes it easy to sip. It also has abundant fruit flavours.
PARTI-GYLE DARK ALE WITH BARREL AGED COFFE
A one-of-a-kind Parti-Gyle that was crafted just for the one-of-a-kind Indy Man Beer Con. It makes use of the second runnings of “Origin Story,” which would otherwise be discarded. This one-of-a-kind brew also features coffee that has been matured in rum barrels and comes from Rafael Amaya, a specialised grower known for his innovative and environmentally conscious practises. The end product is a satisfyingly complex black brew, packed full of roast flavour, and finished off with drying tannins.
WANDERING LINES KELLER LAGER
The origins of Kellerbier may be traced back to the Middle Ages, when brewers would lager their beer in caves for a more controlled environment and a more gradual maturation process. Our version on the style has been aged for a considerable amount of time in tank, and it employs a conventional malt bill, an all-German hop selection, and a water profile that has been mellowed. Naturally, it is unfiltered and unfined, and it has a drinkability that is hard to resist together with notes of tangerine.
RECURRING THEME HAZY IPA
The time I spent brewing with Rob from Stone Brewing in Richmond was quite enjoyable. He sent us some Chinese White Tea to put in our Hazy IPA because they appreciated the stone fruit aromas it provided for them in other types and it was one of the ingredients theywere missing in our recipe. Hop varieties Strata, El Dorado, and Talus were used to bring the brew to life and bring the tannins into harmony. These hop varieties are known for their lovely aromas and gentle bitterness.
Conclusion:
Craft beer is booming in the UK, with new breweries popping up all over the country. Siren Craft Brew is one of the leading lights of this new wave of breweries, and their beers are some of the best in the business. I had the pleasure of visiting their brewery in Wokingham, and it was clear that they are serious about making high-quality beer. The team were friendly and informative, and they clearly have a passion for what they do.
The brewery itself is impressive, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into every aspect of the production process. The end result is a range of outstanding beers that are perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re looking for a refreshing pint after a long walk or a complex bottle to enjoy with friends, Siren Craft Brew has something for everyone. I can’t wait to try more of their beers in the future!
