The longer the time it spends in the cask before bottling, the more mature it gets. Whisky has an alcohol volume of at least 40%-50%. 1. Bourbon ( Buffalo Trace Bourbon,70 cl )
It is a barrel-aged distilled spirit made from corn. It is in the category of American whisky mainly associated with Kentucky and the American south. Bourbon’s distillation has been active since the 18th century. It was named “distinctive product” of the United States back in 1964 by the United States Congress. Bourbon is bottled at no less than 80 US proof (40% alcohol by volume).
2. Scottish whisky ( Scottish Leader whisky, 70 cl )
Scottish whisky is made in Scotland. It is known as whisky or scotch, originally made from malted barley. There are five types of Scottish whisky: blended Scotch whisky, single malt Scotch whisky, blended grain Scotch whisky, single grain Scotch whisky, blended malt Scotch whisky, which are all blended in oak barrels for no less than three years. It has a minimum bottling strength of 40% alcohol by volume.
3. Irish whisky ( Peaky Blinder Irish whisky cream liqueur, 70 cl )
Irish whisky is made on the island of Ireland. It was among the first distilled drinks in Europe, in the 12th century. It comes in different varieties: pot still Irish whisky, grain Irish whisky, blended Irish whisky, malt Irish whisky. The Irish whisky has an alcohol volume of 40-94.8%.
4. Japanese whisky ( Nikka pure malt red Japanese whisky, 50 cl )
It is produced and developed in Japan. Its manufacturing began in 1870, and the first commercial production was done in 1924 after opening the first Japanese distillery, Yamazaki. Japanese whisky has three variants: malt whisky, grain whisky, blended whisky. It is also related to scotch whisky compared to other types of whisky.
Its alcohol volume is 40%.
5. American whisky ( Tincup American whisky, 70 cl )
American whisky is a distilled drink made from the fermented mash of cereal grain in the United States.
Its main types are rye whiskey, wheat whiskey, Tennessee whiskey, corn whisky, rye malt whisky, all produced from mashes with no less than 51% of their grain. The whisky must be distilled to no more than 80% alcohol by volume.
