They’re on a mission to make everyone’s vacations more exciting. They serve as your tour guides, sharing stories from their own lives. No matter where your travels take you, you can count on them to highlight the absolute must-sees along the way. Making lifelong memories is a breeze with GetYourGuide at your side (and in your pocket). Millions of people around the world have used GetYourGuide to finally take that trip they’ve always dreamed of. And this is only the beginning. In order for everyone to plan their ideal holiday, they’re revolutionising how tourists interact with the locations they visit. Your path through life is your own.
GetYourGuide‘s mission is to make travel accessible to everyone. In 2009, four high school friends named Johannes, Tao, Martin, and Tobias were inspired by a miscommunication to create a new kind of travel company. Johannes arrived in Beijing a day early and spent his time aimlessly touring the city. When Tao showed there to act as a local guide, the two finally got to see and do everything they had come to see and do. Their company’s founders returned to Zurich with a clear goal in mind: to revolutionise the tourism industry. In what way? A central hub for the world’s finest events and experiences.
