Converse (/knvrs/) is an American shoe company that designs, distributes, and licences footwear, apparel, and accessories, including sneakers, skate shoes, and lifestyle brand footwear, apparel, and accessories. Converse is headquartered in New York City. Since 2003, it has operated as a subsidiary of Nike, Inc., which was founded in 1908.

While the United States was engaged in World War II, Converse shifted its manufacturing to produce footwear for the military. It was one of the few manufacturers of athletic shoes in the world, and the company dominated the American athletic shoe market for more than half a century. The All Star logo patch on the inside of the heel (high top) is embroidered rather than printed, as is the rest of the shoe. That being said, the most noticeable difference between the Chuck Taylor Star and the Converse Chuck Taylor comes from the hood, which features additional cushioning and a lime-green sock liner made from a Nike-exclusive foam called Lunarlon.

The companies are looking for ways to diversify their products and make them stand out from the competition. Converse’s response was to make use of Mr Taylor’s name, which by this point had become synonymous with the sport, to promote their product. The words “Chuck Taylor” were added to the shoe’s signature heel patch in 1934, and they have remained there to this day.

Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars or Converse All-Stars (also known as “Converse,” “Chuck Taylors,” “Chucks,” “Cons,” “All Stars,” and “Chucky Ts”) is a style of casual shoe manufactured by Converse (a subsidiary of Nike, Inc. since 2003) that was originally developed as a basketball shoe in the early twentieth century. Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars or Converse All Stars (also known as “Converse,” “Chuck Taylors,” “Ch Since its introduction in the 1920s, the Chuck Taylor All Star has remained largely unchanged in terms of design. Shoes are composed of three parts: an upper portion that has been stitched in place, a toe cap that is typically made of white rubber, and a sole that is typically made of brown or tan rubber. A variety of materials, including leather and suede, are used to construct Chuck Taylors; however cotton canvas is used to construct the shoe’s original and most well-known iteration. In addition to thicker canvas and higher rubber foxing, the Chuck 70 offers better cushioning, improved arch support, and increased durability. The All Star is less expensive, comes in more colours, is lighter, and is better for lifting heavy objects.

Converse aren’t specifically designed for weight lifting, but their minimal cushioning makes them an excellent choice for the task due to their low profile. Having said that, they are not the only shoes that are appropriate for lifting.

Cold Fusion Chuck 70 GTX

The Chuck 70s are a good choice if your feet get sore when you don’t have much support. Compared to other classic designs, they’re the most comfortable to date, and they’re even more comfortable than the ill-fated Chuck II, which was almost too squishy to be comfortable.

In addition to thicker canvas and higher rubber foxing, the Chuck 70 offers better cushioning, improved arch support, and increased durability. The All Star is less expensive, comes in a greater variety of colours, is lighter, and is better for lifting weights.

It’s important to understand that Chuck 70s are extremely large in size before ordering a pair for yourself. You’ll want to order one size smaller in order to get a good fit.

Some users have stated that the CT-70s are true to size, while others have stated that they run half a size large, others have stated that they run a full size large, and still others have stated that, strangely enough, the CT-70s run a little small.

As previously stated, Converse Chuck Taylors tend to run about a half size larger than your normal shoe size, so ordering a half size down when purchasing Chucks is probably the best option. Converse offers a sizing chart that can assist you in finding the right fit once more.
