Get started with MTD VAT returns
Making Tax Digital is compatible with Xero‘s VAT digital services as well as those that aren’t MTD-compliant. After joining MTD, VAT returns can only be filed through MTD. From April 2022 (unless you have an exemption), all VAT-registered businesses will be required to utilize MTD VAT returns.
