It was in 1988 that two surfing brothers, Angus and Ross Thomson, began selling their designs from the back of their Austin Allegro, using a homemade printing screen and a homemade printing screen, respectively. They worked together on individual graphics, screen printing, and tie-dye techniques, among other things.
Despite the fact that technology has advanced over the past three decades, the Saltrock team remains dedicated to the pursuit of distinctive design, functionality, and quality.
We remain passionately true to our heritage, continuing to produce surf-inspired designs in Devon, with freedom woven into the very heart of our products, which are now shipped all over the United Kingdom.
Our one-of-a-kind designs are influenced by our enthusiasm for the lifestyle that we enjoy. Because of the high quality of our products, we frequently see customers in our stores who are still sporting hard-wearing, iconic designs from the company’s earliest days.
It all started back in the 1980s, when two brothers who were travelling the world in search of waves decided to settle down in London. They made the decision to get on a train to the sea right away, asking the man at the ticket counter to “take us to the nearest place where there will be surf.”
They boarded a train bound for Cornwall and didn’t look back until they arrived.
Angus and Ross enjoyed their life in Cornwall, but they soon realised that they were short on funds and decided to put their artistic abilities to good use. A printing screen made from scraps they had begged, borrowed, or salvaged, as well as a homemade blackout system made from tape, nails, and a Salvation Army rug, they began printing original, surf-inspired designs on tshirts and selling them from the back of their Austin Allegro pickup truck in 2009. Saltrock is the name of their new brand, which was inspired by their favourite surf break back home in South Africa.
The designs were a success. This distinctive and original style quickly gained the brothers a core following of south west surfers who became fiercely loyal to their style, and it wasn’t long before they were unable to keep up with the demand for their products.
Today, the Saltrock family is stronger than ever, and it is committed to sharing the surfing ideal with people from both within and outside the surfing community who share the same values and attitudes.
Even though some of the original team is still involved, we design for the lifestyle that we enjoy – having fun, being creative and laughing are essential to our success. It is our passion to explore the British coastline and all it has to offer. We are also passionate about having the freedom to express ourselves, and we surf until the sun goes down (when we have the opportunity!).
Saltrock is a true British success storey that demonstrates that anything is possible when you have imagination, a great team, and a strong desire to succeed.
Wilf – Men’s Borg Lined Cord Jacket – Dark Blue
A borg lining is an additional layer that is stitched inside a garment, which is typically a hoodie, fleece, jacket, or coat, to provide warmth and comfort. In keeping with the name, this lining is made of borg, which is a sheepskin-like fabric that is very similar to shearling in appearance. But, of course, it’s a fake, and no animals were harmed in the process of making it.
The following is an example of an artificial material that is thick, soft, and similar in appearance to sheepskin (= the skin of a sheep with wool on one side) that is used to make clothing: The hoodies are lined with borg, which makes them extremely warm for the winter months ahead.
Originally, the Borg were thought to be an insectoid race, but this was later changed. “Borg” is a shortened form of the word cyborg, which is short for “cybernetic organism,” which means “cybernetic organism.”
It is breathable and waterproof, and the seams are taped to keep you dry when it is raining. This item has a stylish and functional design that makes it suitable for any outdoor occasion.
The borg fleece lining adds to the cosiness of the jacket while also providing water resistance. And it doesn’t stop there; they’ve also included internal waist adjusters so that you can tailor the garment to your specific body shape. Alternatively, you could simply accommodate a few extra layers.

Flannel is commonly used in the production of tartan clothing, blankets, bed sheets, and sleepwear, among other things. The term “flannel shirt” is frequently misused to refer to any shirt that has a plaid or tartan pattern on it, which is incorrect.
Checkered shirts are available in a variety of designs, ranging from small, intricate checks to large, window-pane checks. Checks of a smaller size are more appropriate for formal occasions, as a general rule

Jose – Men’s Quilted Shirt – Blue
Puffer jackets, also known as quilted jackets, are characterised by a signature quilted design that includes sections that are “puffy” between the stitching and a sleeveless design. Depending on how well they are constructed and the quality of the synthetic fibres used, they can provide a significant amount of warmth.
There are numerous excellent quilted jackets available that look fantastic when worn with formal office attire. A good example of this type of clothing would be a black quilted leather jacket that looks great when paired with a dress shirt, pants, and sneakers.
When Eddie Bauer contracted hypothermia while on a winter fishing trip in Washington, he came up with the idea for a quilted jacket insulated with goose down, which became the prototype for technical clothing. Two years later, the couturier Charles James created an evening jacket that was cropped to look like a patchwork quilt.
The ability to layer the quilted jacket is one of the things that appeals to me about it. You can wear a short-sleeved or long-sleeved shirt underneath, with varying degrees of thickness. The outfit shown below is an example of a more casual look. It consists of a pair of slim-fitting jeans, a turtleneck sweater, and a pair of black sneakers.
