About Luke

Luke started out small in the West Midlands in 2001. Since then, it has grown into a major modern clothing brand with fans all over the world. With the help of some of the best local clothing stores, the brand has grown while staying true to its ideals, which makes it stand out.

Luke’s clothes are a sensible take on modern clothing, and he has all the traits of a modern boy, a gentleman, and a working-class hero. The tough parts of Birmingham, where the brand is based, have a big impact on it. Luke is a foundry worker and a designer, and his taste covers everything. Luke’s philosophy is to add a stylish touch to any men’s clothing while keeping the cool, manly look. The name offers a unique look for the United Kingdom of Luke, which is a welcoming place for everyone.

Luke Roper was born in Walsall Wood, West Midlands. His mother was a talented dressmaker and his father worked hard. By age 12, he was good at football and sewing machines, and by age 15, he was making one-of-a-kind shirts for his friends. He quickly became a local legend, and guys from all over the area started ordering his unique designs and going to clubs in the wild West Midlands wearing Luke’s original, hand-made clothes.

At age 20, he went to London, where Central St. Martins, the best fashion school in the country, saw his skills and gave him a degree in clothing design. Luke got better at what he did here, and he and Simon Poole, a family friend for life, came up with a plan to make the best clothing brand in the UK. Luke teamed up with Deborah Poole to start the new business after he graduated, and that was the start of the trip.

Since it began more than twenty years ago, the business has stuck to the same ideas. Luke’s new, manly takes on fashion, along with Luke 1977 high standards of quality and limited distribution, keep them at the top of British fashion.
