The scientific name for thyme is Thymus vulgaris. Durable and perennial Thyme is a classic addition to any garden because of its small size, tight growth, and pungent aroma. It produces sweet-smelling, delicate lavender flowers that are attractive to bees.

What is thyme flower?

Thyme is a member of the mint family and is known by its botanical name, Thymus vulgaris. The plant is referred to as “Flowering thyme” when it is in full bloom, which is when it is at its most aromatic. The flavour of the leaves is amplified by the presence of the flowers, which gives the plant its common name.

Total price: £25.00

Can thyme flowers be used?

The flowers should be used as a garnish while they are still attached to the stem in order to consume them. You could also crumble them up and sprinkle them over whatever you’re serving. Cooking with thyme flowers imparts a lemony flavour to the food, and some cookbooks recommend using them to make a flavoured butter.

What do thyme flowers taste like?

The flowers emerge along the length of the stem, tucked in between the leaves. They typically have a purple colour, but the colour can range from pink to white or even purple, depending on the variety. Flowering thyme is characterised by its tiny purple flowers, which exude a balsamic aroma and have a citrusy flavour with hints of mint.

The fact that the toes are concealed makes mules acceptable to wear to most workplaces that have dress codes. There are many different forms that black mules can take. There is a wide variety of heel heights, flat styles, dressy styles, casual styles, suede styles, hardware styles, and vamp lengths and shapes.
